Anyone that knows our family, knows how much we love to travel.There is nothing more important than a nice hotel that is clean, comfy and makes you feel completely welcome.Recently our family had the pleasure of staying at SpringHill Suites Marriott in Langhorne, PA.
Honestly, I think I have watched this hotel being built from all of our trips to Sesame Place and I could not wait for it to be finished so we could give it a try.The hotel surpassed every expectation we had. SpringHill Suites has a very modern, sleek look to it.Everything is conveniently located- including the front desk directly in front of you as you enter the doors.Upon our entrance we were greeted with big smiles.One thing I loved was how the lobby area was refreshing with plenty of room for all to relax and have a conversation of take a peek at the news. The lobby also doubles as space for breakfast buffet bar, which is included with your stay.Jumping right to breakfast- it was delicious. There was something for everyone.Some choices included homemade plain or blueberry waffles,breads, bagels and muffins, hot oatmeal, mini omelettes, yogurts, a variety of fresh fruits and more! There was also a serve yourself juice machine and endless coffee, tea and hot cocoa. 
Now, getting back to our room. We were checked in by Assistant Manager Anne Marie, who could not have been any nicer, and given a run down of the hotel's hotspots: the media center, fitness center, indoor pool, etc.My family could not wait to check out the room. It's either a hit or miss when the door opens. This time I'm happy to say it was a total hit! Let's start with one word: Clean.I'm very happy to tell you, this hotel is well kept. Our room was spotless.We had a king suite which consisted of a king size bed in one room (with desk office divider)and a pull out. The room had plenty of lighting and something our entire family loved: Plugs! There were enough plugs that we did not have to take turns charging cell phones or ipads/laptops. There was also an ihome that took care of the ipods with us.There is complimentary high speed internet, too.This room is perfect for someone alone or with a family.The convenience of a microwave and mini-fridge helped out immensely having the family along.
It was especially perfect for our family. We were at the SpringHill Suites in Langhorne to visit Sesame Place, which happens to be right across the street from the hotel. You can look out the hallway windows and see Sesame Place right there! That was so exciting to our little group.I was even more thrilled to find out there was a path from the front door of the hotel that leads you directly to the entrance of Sesame Place. What more could you ask for? Oh, I know, you do not have take yourcar to Sesame Place. It is literally about as close as the parking lots.A big perk for us was being able to take a breather and go back to the room for a little while, then return to the theme park. It waswonderful to have a room so close that we could do that.Honestly, this is the closest hotel to any theme park we have evervisited. It's going to be hard to go somewhere else after staying here!It seems that SpringHill Suites has it ALL: Cleanliness, Comfort,Location, Roominess, Breakfast, Pool and more. As a former teacher,I would have to give this hotel a Big A+! If you are in the Philadelphia area and looking for a wonderfulhotel, this is the place for you! If you are heading to Sesame Place,don't miss out on this one.
