Giveaway: Win A Family 4 Pack of Tickets To The Count's Halloween SpooktacularAt Sesame PlaceLanghorne, PA Weekends Through October 28th!
Yesterday my family had the pleasure of attending The Count's Halloween Spooktacular at Sesame Place in Langhorne, Pa, less than two hours from NYC.Sesame Place is a family favorite during the summer, so wewere very excited to see just what was cooking for Halloween. We have gone to Sesame Place for their Halloween celebration before, but we missed last year. A lot has changed! We were thrilled as we arrived to see that The Count somehowhad taken over the front sign and the entrance of Sesame Place! There was also a larger than life inflatable Count just inside thetheme park entrance. You cannot help but swell with excitementseeing the children parading in dressed in everything from Baby Elmo to Princesses, Witches, Abby Cadabby and more costumes than you couldever imagine. My own kids could not wait to get inside and start the party! We headed to the Rubber Ducky Costume Party where a DJ was spinning tunes and children, parents and of course Bert and Ernie weredancing out their hearts! Adorable!SesamePlace.com

Although the water rides are closed for the season, you may noteven notice, there is so much to do!There is a fantastic Trick-Or-Treat trail that has a lot of yummy treats and even some juice that features the Sesame Street characters. The trail goes throughout the park, so where ever youare, you can find a place to get a treat!Since our family adores the Sesame Place shows, we decided tocheck out one of the three Halloween themed shows, "The Not-Too-Spooky Howl-O-Ween Radio Show"! We loved it! The show featured some of ourfavorite characters dressed in their Halloween costumes! The show is soenergetic, you cannot help but sing and dance along! After the show we headed to the rides!

There were plenty to choose from, but that was definitely not the end of the fun.Since our family loves mazes we were sure to check out Abby Cadabby's Magical Halloween Maze and The Count's Unhaunted Castle Maze. I willdefinitely tell you to put these at the top of your list!

Do not miss the magic mirror with the talking pumpkin inside the Unhaunted Castle Maze! You won't find something like him anywhere else around.During the middle of our day we were lucky enough to be invited to a special media event where we enjoyed Cookie Monster and Elmo cookies and cupcakes along withElmo shaped pretzels and some filling drinks! We also had the chance to meet up with all the characters to sing, dance and hug! There were many smiles during that special hour!At that point we got our hands stamped and headed back to the parking lot where we boarded a festive hay ride with our friend Telly! We arrived back at the front gates just in time for the Halloween themed Neighborhood Street Party Parade to begin complete with ghosts andHalloween music! Our last ride of the day was the Sunny Day Carousel which was covered incobwebs and had the view of an enormous inflatable spider. What a way to end our spooktacular day at Sesame Place!
