DYI DUCT TAPE BAG TAG

We love Duct Tape! My son made a Duct Tape Wallet and we are learning how to make new things with the several rolls we bought. For security reasons I am not a big fan of putting my kids names on their bags or backpacks. For Awanas both my boys have a small backpack to keep their book and vest in. With so many children in our class I decided that their name needed to be on their bags somehow so that when the teachers pass all the kids belongings back out to them before leaving they can clearly see my kids names. My solution.... Duct Tape Bag Tags, this is different then writing their names on the bags because the tags I made I placed on the backside of the bag so that when they are wearing them strangers cannot see their names because the tags are sandwiched between their backs and the backpack.  Here is how to make one:
Materials neededDuct Tape (3 pieces measuring 5 inches each)ScissorsRulerSelf Stick Velcro  Step 2  Step 3Then fold the long piece in 1/2 and stick it to the other 5 inch piece. Step 4 + Step 5 Attach to bag and add your name label to it or if you have a solid color Duct Tape use a Sharpie and write their name!  I needed a tag and a pinch and without spending money, using the materials we already had it took me about 10 minutes start to finish!  Mama to 4 Blessings is linking this post up @:MondaySerendipity and SpiceC.R.A.F.T.Kampen LaneHomemaker on a DimeBoogieboard CottageTuesdayA Diamond in the StuffTip JunkieWednesdayIt's OverflowingEmbracing ChangeFireflies + JellybeansDYI by DesignSouthern LovelyVintage GwenThursdayThe 36th AvenueShabby Creek CottageHouse of Hepworthsthe Imagination TreeFriday Little Becky Homecky Create Craft Love Delicate Construction Flaunt it Friday
