My 7 year old is taller than most 7 year olds are. Typical carseats are too small for him and I think not being in a booster carseat is unsafe. We are loving this new booster seat, it has far exceeded our expectations. My son loves it because it's super comfortable and he has a place to rest this head with the plush sides of the headrest.
